November 2011
Pedestrian bridge of Kifisias Avenue
CCTV System Sponsorship
Social contribution from Robert Bosch S.A.
After two years of combined efforts between the Athens College, three municipalities (Psychiko - Filothei - Chalandri) and various private companies, among them Robert Bosch S.A., on November 11, 2011 the new “Pedestrian Bridge – Child Bridge” on Kifisias avenue opened to public.

After various fatal accidents, a new pedestrian bridge was inaugurated so all the students and the public can cross safely one of the highest-traffic streets of Athens. The project was realized solely by sponsorships and more than 15 authorities and companies, cooperated in order to complete this task.

Under the scope of the Corporate Social Responsibility of Robert Bosch S.A., the company offered, via sponsorship, all relevant CCTV equipment required for this project, in order to guarantee the safety of the public while crossing the bridge. Additionally, the CCTV system will be used to monitor any malicious actions that might be attempted on the bridge.
